This is a You Do AV quickie – How to correctly install a compression fitting RG6 cabling F Connector
Use Dikes to cut the cable – Not your Stripers.
This cable is Copper Clade Aluminum and if you use your stripers you will ruin them.
Cut to length.
Do this right.
Strip it
Pull all of your Aluminum braiding back.
*Nothing should touch the center conductor.
When you put your connector on the cabling the white form part of the cable should be level with the bottom of the bowl.
Then take your compression tool and compress the connector. Properly compressed you should barely be able to see any black sticking out.
The connector should be sticking out about 3 / 16ths of an inch.
